06 Oct Cocktail Conversation with Danielle Wiebe of Vancity Business Babes
We are back at it again, with another episode of Karin’s Cocktail Conversations! The show were we have a stiff drink and a great conversation and this time I’m sitting down with the very inspiring, Danielle Wiebe of Vancity Business Babes.
I met Danielle over a year ago now, after we had connected through social media. We were on each other’s radar, and when she had asked me to be a speaker at one of her Vancity Business Babes events, I was extremely excited to connect with her and the amazing community she had grown! I had such a great time and met some amazing people… you can see how it all went down in a previous vlog here!

In this episode I get to talk to Danielle about building her business, tips for women on networking, and what it means to build a community, both on and offline. We had a ton of fun filming this episode and it definitely has lots of juicy information for anyone who’s just launched, or is thinking of launching their business. A huge thanks to Danielle for joining me and to Pacific Yacht Charters for hosting us! What a beautiful place to have a cocktail and a great conversation!

Thank you to our lovely mixologist at Pacific Yacht Charters, @miss_chelsea_rose_, for the delicious cocktails!! If you want to make one for yourself or maybe host a little ladies networking night of your own, the recipe is below!!

Ingredients:
2 slices of Fresh Cucumber
1 oz. Bombay Gin
1 oz. Gifford Ginger Liqueur
0.5 oz. Lemon Juice
Ice
Top with Champagne
First add garnish to cocktail glass by peeling the length of the cucumber and twisting it inside the glass. Next, muddle chunks of cucumber in martini shaker, add gin, ginger liqueur, lemon juice and ice. Shake for 1-2 minutes. Strain into champagne flute and top with champagne.
Enjoy!!
